About Precinct 1

Precinct 1 serves the City of Lockhart and surrounding eastern Caldwell County. The court handles traffic and Class C misdemeanor citations, small claims up to $20,000, debt claims, evictions, occupational driver's license petitions, and repair-and-remedy cases. All pleas must be submitted in writing — phone calls do not constitute a court appearance.
