About the Board

The Caldwell County Child Welfare Board is a volunteer citizen advisory board established under Texas Family Code § 264.005. Board members advise and assist the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) in serving children and families in Caldwell County.

The board works to raise community awareness about child abuse and neglect, support foster and adoptive families, and advocate for local child welfare resources.

Meetings & Minutes

The board meets regularly throughout the year. To request meeting agendas, minutes, or to attend an upcoming meeting, contact the County Judge's office at (512) 398-1808 or submit a Public Information Request.
