Caldwell County is governed by Commissioners Court — the County Judge (presiding) and four County Commissioners elected from precincts. The Court is supported by a slate of independently-elected officials including the Sheriff, District & County Attorney, County & District Clerks, Tax Assessor-Collector, Treasurer, and Justices of the Peace.
