About the Commissioners Court
The Caldwell County Commissioners Court is the governing body of the county. It is composed of the County Judge and four commissioners, each elected from a different precinct. The Court sets policy, adopts the annual budget, sets the tax rate, and oversees county operations.
The Court meets regularly on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. in Room 200 (Second Floor, County Courtroom), 110 S. Main Street, Lockhart, TX 78644.
